In 2017 in conjunction with Joint Help For Kurdistan (JHK), Syrias Vibes established a mental health programme in the Bajed Kandala Camp, home to 11,000 survivors of the Yazidi genocide of 2014. The programme facilitates therapy, medication and other various supports for up to 55 people weekly and is open to anyone in the camp needing assistance, primarily women and children returning from IS captivity.
